Chamberlain PMHNP Preceptor & Psych Clinical Placement

We secure a licensed PMHNP preceptor for your Chamberlain psychiatric-mental health practicum, confirm your exact hours against your program, and file Typhon.

What the Chamberlain PMHNP practicum involves

The MSN-PMHNP trains you to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric-mental health conditions across the lifespan, so your preceptor must be a board-certified PMHNP (or psychiatrist in scope) in an outpatient or inpatient behavioral-health setting.

Psychiatric preceptors are among the hardest to find on your own. We source one whose practice matches your courses, then move the affiliation agreement and Typhon application through before your term opens.
